Q: How do I deactivate a participant who was enrolled with Two-Way Texting?
A: Deactivating a Two-Way Texting participant is a one-step process:
- Log into the AiCure portal (login.aicure.com) and select your study
- Click on the Participant ID to get the dropdown menus
- Click on PARTICIPANT SETTINGS
- Click on the MANAGE PARTICIPANT dropdown
- Select END PARTICIPATION
- A window will open allowing you to configure the final details for the participant's deactivation
- Select a reason (E.g. Completed Treatment)
- Select the End Date for the Participant using the calendar
- Click the END PARTICIPATION Button
- The participant will be deactivated and the following text message will be sent to them. They will also receive this text message if they send any replies after being deactivated.
Participation complete. Thank you for your participation. There are no more activities for you in this study. If you believe this is an error, please contact your Site Coordinator.
