Q: How do I change the treatment regimen for my participant?
A: If your trial is configured with different treatment regimens, you can follow the steps below to change it:
Part 1: On the Dashboard

- Log into the AiCure portal (login.aicure.com) and select your study
- Click on the Participant ID
- Click on the PARTICIPANT SETTINGS tab
- Click on the MANAGE PARTICIPANT dropdown list
- Click on CHANGE TREATMENT REGIMEN
- Select the desired treatment protocol
- Set the dosing Reminder Time
- Select a date when the new regimen should be applied
- Review your changes. If all is correct, click SAVE
An update will then be sent to the participant’s device
Please Note: If the participant continues to use the app to dose without being connected to the internet to download this update, the doses may be recorded as being taken with the current regimen, and not the new one. So it is important that they update their app on the date you specified in Step 8.
Part 2: On the Participant's Device

Instruct the participant to open the app while connected to the internet to download the update (if the app is already open, instruct them to close and reopen it)

Please wait while the update downloads

Once the update completes, the app will confirm there was an update made and the participant can proceed to using the app as normal
Q: I am attempting to change the regimen, but the one I’m looking for is not listed. What can I do?
A: The regimens listed in Part 1 Step 6 are preconfigured based on what is approved by the trial sponsors. If you cannot find the regimen you are looking for, we recommend reaching out to your sponsor team for further guidence.
